Creating Norse Runes

2

Lesson

This project is truly open-ended! If you don’t resonate with the Norse Runes then invent your own symbols and define what messages and meanings they hold for you OR you could use another group of symbols that align with you, like angel symbols, Celtic symbols etc. You could even tie your symbols to creative prompts or inquiries that you can use in your creative practice.

I hope you create your own and make them so unique to you!

Please NOTE - I used Liquitex Gloss Medium to initially varnish my rune stones. This ended up being very sticky so I ended up using the Varathane Polyurethane Water-based Gloss Varnish on top. This fixed the stickiness. DO NOT USE ACRYLIC MEDIUM to varnish your runes like me! They will end up sticky!!! ;(
