Clay Supplies:

  • air dry clay
  • small soft round sponge
  • leaves or other things collected from nature
  • craft paint (make sure to have a dark brown)
  • wipes
  • rolling pin or a bottle from your pantry to roll with

Ooooh, the suspense is exciting! Share your photos of your creations and I hope this has sparked your interest in clay. It is a journey, perhaps you will explore taking a pottery class near you or maybe you will expand of the pots and create some other hand built pieces. Whatever it is I can't wait to see!

I ended up painting out the sides and bottom of the leaf bowl with the same Sea Glass colour I painted the little pot.  I also added a hint of gold around the edge of the bowl.  I was going to leave it as is but the inspiration struck me and I just went with it!  I am super happy with the end result.  Pictures below.
